Jonah: A Prophet, a Fish, and a God of Grace   A Prayer from the Deep Jonah 2   Point #1 — Your Lowest Moment Can Become a Place of Prayer Jonah 2:1-2 Truth: No place is too dark, no situation is too desperate, and no failure is too great for us to call upon the Lord. Challenge: Do not allow shame or regret to keep you from praying. Cry out to God right where you are.   Point #2 — When You Feel Far from God, Remember What Is True Jonah 2:3–7 Truth: Our circumstances may tell us that God has abandoned us, but His character and promises tell us that He is still near. Challenge: When your emotions are overwhelming, stop rehearsing your fears and begin remembering God’s faithfulness.   Point #3 — Deliverance Begins with Surrender Jonah 2:8–10 Truth: We cannot rescue ourselves, but we can surrender ourselves to the God who saves. Challenge: Release what you have been trying to control and trust God with the outcome. The Lord who rescued Jonah is still able to rescue, restore, and redirect us.
